Dr. Kotecki
At an early age he learned the value of orthodontic treatment while he, his brother, and his father all experienced treatment together.
The changes that he witnessed and the improvement in his self-esteem inspired him to pursue a career in dentistry and later orthodontics.
He studied biomedical engineering at Duke University and went to dental school at Columbia University, where he met his wife Alexandra (who is also an orthodontist).
After dental school he joined the army as a dentist and served our country for 3 years.
As Dr. Kotecki was working with an orthodontist in the army and watching his wife complete her training, he decided to enroll at Albert Einstein Medical Center’s orthodontic residency program in Philadelphia.
It was at Einstein that he met Dr. Cohen who was one of his attending faculty.
The story continues in welcoming Dr. Kotecki as he joins with Dr. Cohen and they continue to create smiles one patient at a time.
