Located at 1000 Village Dr, Millville, NJ 08332. WheatonArts focuses on the medium of glass. It is an internationally-renowned arts community that offers multi-generational experiences. The organization’s mission is to educate audiences through diverse public programs that engage artists and the community. The center’s programs include workshops, artist demonstrations, and special exhibitions. WheatonArts is also the home of the Creative Glass Fellowship Program, which provides annual residential artists’ fellowships and artist residencies. In addition, WheatonArts is the home of the Museum of American Glass, which houses the country’s largest collection of American glass.

Founded in 1968, WheatonArts has been instrumental in promoting contemporary glass activity. It is one of nine museums in New Jersey to be accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. WheatonArts is open six days a week, ten months a year, from Thursday through Sunday. It is closed on Thanksgiving Day and New Year’s Day. However, special exhibitions are held throughout the year. The Museum of American Glass at WheatonArts presents daily interpretive demonstrations on traditional glassblowing techniques. The museum also presents exhibits that explore the history and creativity of American glass. The museum features more than 18,000 square feet of exhibition space. The Museum of American Glass at the Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center has more than six thousand objects in its collection.
