Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts

Located in Millville, New Jersey, the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts (RRCA) has been the driving force behind the creation of Millville’s Glasstown Arts District. Once a rundown men’s and boys’ store, the RRCA has undergone a transformation into a community arts center. The center hosts classes, exhibits, and other activities for all ages, and even has a small shop where you can buy giclee prints from local artists.

The RRCA has been working with Millville Development Corporation and the city of Millville to develop an arts district and is also the home of the American Glass Museum, one of the eight accredited museums in New Jersey. The center’s main attraction is the Gallery of Glass, a state-of-the-art display of glass art that features works by some of the country’s most renowned artists. The center also hosts presentations and classes throughout the year. There are even summer art programs for children. The RRCA is also the starting point for everything in the arts in the area.

The Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts is not the only arts organization in the area, but it is the only one that is actually part of the Glasstown Arts District. Other arts organizations in the area include the Ashville Art Museum, The Neuberger Museum, The Wheeler Opera House, The Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Summit Art Center. While each of these organizations has its own merits, the RRCA has been the driving force behind the growth of the Glasstown Arts District.

The RRCA is the starting point for everything in the arts in Millville. There are many art exhibits, a small shop selling giclee prints and a gift shop full of local artisans. The Center also organizes art classes for all ages and holds Third Friday and Third Saturday evening art events.
